Title Vl Compliance Notice to the Public.
In compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation Title VI regulations (49 CFR part 21), the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District (MTD) operates programs without regard to race, color, and national origin.  Contact MTD at 550 Olive Street, Santa Barbara, California 93101, (805) 963-3364, or www.sbmtd.gov to request additional information regarding MTD’s nondiscrimination obligations.  Any person who believes himself or any specific class of persons to be subjected to discrimination prohibited by Title VI may by himself or by a representative file a written complaint with MTD or with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Office of Civil Rights, Attention: Title VI Program Coordinator, 400 7th Street SW Room 9100, Washington, DC 20590.  A complaint must be filed no later than 180 days after the date of the alleged discrimination, unless the time for filing is extended by FTA.
